I think you should post the specific cards you are looking at, because of the two, with no budget given, the 780 is the obvious choice.

Between the 2.......780 hands down........But there are more to come very soon.

Obviously the 780 is the faster card by about 20-30% depending on the game/benchmark.  The new R9-290X from AMD is rumored to be as fast as the 780 (maybe even the Titan) with 4GB of 512-bit memory so it may be a good idea to wait until its release (probably mid October) before making a decision.  Then again, if you need the performance now, the 780 certainly delivers...
