so the builds for a friend and his budget for the entire build is $400

i have a 750ti, and ram for him that he can use

just need to validate its ok

and i use a cx-m, not a cx lol

Thanks :)

you checked the bottom? The front usb ports will not work with this mobo cause it doesn't have USB 3.0 Headers. you definitely pick a cheaper case if you're limiting the budget so much.

and as @stconquest stated, your build is already over 400$...

oc chip on non oc board(?)

maybe an i5 will do tbh, the 750ti is fine with an i5

i7 is overkill for gaming on an 750ti :P

and that psu is still crap regardless lol

maybe get the CX550M, grey labelled units

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

you won't be overclocking on that. This is the most basic of board.

That will give the user a much better experience while in front of their PC, because of the SSD.  You can leave out the 1TB drive for now to save money.  The storage drive can be added later when needed.

That is not a terrible unit.  It will drive an overclocked i7 and a R9 380 and still have 30%-35% wiggle room.

Source?

http://www.anandtech.com/show/5698/rosewill-capstone-450w-and-650w-80plus-gold/5

Seems fine.

Edit:  That is the wrong review that I linked...  The one I linked is a Superflower unit, the G650 is made by Enhance.

You maybe right @Moonzy

I can't find anything on it.
