Some of us go auto while others do full blown tweaking to get their overclock. Whichever the case, an overclock is only as good as the batch the CPU came from. Post your current CPU OC and the voltage it took to get there. Let's see who won the Willy Wonka golden ticket of processors!

Only OCs that passed stress tests may enter*

I remember awhile back I managed to get this i5 2500k to boot at 5ghz, but I don't remember how much voltage was pumping through it..doesn't really matter since Windows locked up fairly quickly haha. A cooler with 92mm fans can only do so much.

I run an Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz with a vcore of 1.25 (1.248) with a Noctua NH U9B SE2, not the most extreme overclock, but it's stable and the voltage seems fine, temps peak at 68c on the hottest core. (Did I get a good batch, Linustechtips? :P)

What's your overclock, vcore and cooler?

I'm embarrassed to say 4.1GHz on 3570k, stock voltage with a Noctua NH-U12P. I'll eventually do a proper overclock.  :(

Case = Bitfenix Prodigy, Motherboard = P8Z77 - I Deluxe, CPU = 3570k @ 4.2GHz, RAM = 2x 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws, GPU = Sapphire 7950 Boost Edition, Storage = 256GB Samsung 840 Pro.

I believe there's a thread dedicated for this already, they have tons of LTT's people putting up their settings and what not with cpuz that might help ya :)

Looks like my shame only has to be in this thread then.  B)

Yeah, we have an official database for that. I think it is even pinned.

I've got an i7 4770k running at 4.8Ghz, 1.46v and hitting 58 degrees. I've delidded and run my waterblock directly onto the CPU die though. I can't hit 5.0Ghz no matter how hard I try though :(

For day to day I run it at 4.6Ghz, 1.36v and get 53 degrees running prime. Sits on about 46 degrees during games :)

WAT

So you just put thermal paste on whatever was under the lid and then hooked up your water cooling? Wouldn't that hurt the memory controllers? Or whatever is under the lid

My Rig: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.5 Ghz, Corsair H100i, Gigabyte gtx 770 4gb, 8 gb Patriot Viper 2133 mhz, Corsair C70 (Black), EVGA Supernova 750g Modular PSU, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard, Asus next gen wifi card.

no need in creating another topic about membership overclocks.
