Well I need to carry the laptop with me all day 5 days a week and it happens often that I don't have a place to charge my laptop for 4-5 hours. A gaming laptop would be to heavy and will not be able to last that long on battery with 60-70% cpu usage.

and so what, it will still run at 90C+ most of the time, and I can't buy that with a Danish keyboard.

I know that a gaming laptop will give me more performance and all that but the battery life is not very good on them. If the clevo p640re had about 7 hours of battery life I would buy that, but it has 4-5 hours and that is a little short for me.

The Razer has a crappy keyboard, so it's probably out of the race. It's also made of inferior materials (aluminium). Not to mention that almost any laptop can run an eGPU, so I don't see the point of the overpriced Core. (it's probably for the type of people who rather buy a pre-built desktop than build one themselves)

I'd go with the T460s. It's a higher quality machine and the low weight is noticeable if you carry it with you every day.

Yeah I also think the T460s is the winner of those two, but now my friend told me about the XPS 13 with iris graphics and a little better cpu than what you can get in the T460s, so now I am in doubt again...

You could go also with the 460p, it has dgpu and upgradable battery (which the 460s doesn´t)

The CPU in the XPS 13 will be on par or worse than in the T460s. Remember, the T460s has a 25W CPU. I believe the XPS 13 with Iris has a 28W CPU, but all of that extra power reserves are going to the GPU, not the CPU. In fact, the T460s should still be faster in terms of the CPU, but it will have a slower integrated GPU.

The XPS 13 is a really nice machine, but the keyboard won't be able to keep up with the T460s.

Thanks for the help :) there is a 65% chance that i will get the T460s over the XPS 13 iris.

maybe consider waiting a bit. intel's skull canyon nuc is coming (really) soon, and so will Iris Pro 580 series, can be considered on par with GT940m or 945m. XPS 13 iris only has the 530.
