Noctua NH-D9L compatibility

Hey,

 

I'm looking to downscale my rig and replace my current h100i cooler with something smaller and quieter and I've got one question:

 

Will the Noctua NH-D9L be compatible with a Maximus VII Impact? My only fear is the daughterboard housing the vrm and other power components wont allow a complete fit.

 

Does anyone know if the two are compatible?
