I'm not sure how I am supposed to respond to the original post. It's not a surprise that such an old computer has problems doing tasks today.

I use this ona  chromebook and I have 166 tabs because I try to keep it tidy. My friend who doesn't has 800+.

Tip to those that are new on LTT forum- quote a post so that the person you are quoting gets a notification, otherwise they'll have no idea that you did. You can also use a tag such as @Ryoutarou97 (replace my username with anyone's. You should get a dropdown after you type the "@")to send a notification, but quoting is preferable.

Feel free to PM me about absolutely anything be it tech, math, literature, etc. I'll try my best to help. I'm currently looking for a cheap used build for around $25 to set up as a home server if anyone is selling.

If you are a native speaker please use proper English if you can. Punctuation, capitalization, and spelling are as important to making your message readable as proper night theme formatting is.

My build is fully operational, but won't be posted until after I get a GPU in it and the case arted up.

How do you people do this? I'm starting to believe tab hoarding is a real thing.

The laptop usually isn't slow and I usually am fine with the 4gb of ram because even with 24 tabs open its only at 50% ram usage it's those flashy sites with all the fancy animations and GIF images eating up my CPU and on normal sites like this forum as long as I don't have any websites that have animations or videos playing in the background the laptop is still pretty fast

From the bottom there's  ~10 wikipedia articles I meant to read that I don't want to get rid of because i'm still interested, then about 30 more non-wikipedia articles/essays I meant to read. Then there's some music I wanted to listen to followed by kisckstarters to look at then a whole lot of misc. stuff, manga to read, misc stuff, summer jobs applications, and more misc. stuff.

Basically when I want to save a bunch of stuff from a link rampage (which goes to philosophy) I send them all to onetab and never get to them again.

Well then that information should have probably been in the original post. I have a N270 Atom and 1gb of ram in my Acer Aspire One netbook, and it kindda struggles with Chrome with only a few tabs.
