Should I buy a drone or get a new GPU?

I'm not sure what I should buy since they're both about the same, it'd probably be a DJI Phantom 3 and for the GPU it would be one of the newer pascal cards whenever they launch.

 

EDIT: For the drone aerial photography and video are a yes and are the main thing I want for it.

I really like building my own multirotors, but it depends on what you want to do. For Aerial photography, the phantom 3 standard is the best drone from a value perspective, but you can't rip balls like Skitzo. It's supposed to be a flying tripod for capturing something else, not just flying around.

Depends on where you live...a metropolis? A village/farm? Woods? Hills?

The only reason I wouldn't want to do that is because I'd prefer to get a good "refined" perse as a first drone that is somewhat easy to use but works well.

I wanna do aerial photography and videography as a main point as well as have some fun just flying a drone. Link to this Skitzo you speak of?

Not a farm, more like a village but I live in a neighborhood with a large lake and a trail. There's also a marsh/nature reserve that I believe allows drones, but I'd need to check.

 Johnathan Davis, aka skitzo, flew this with a QAV 210 for his attempt in the F3Expo freestyle competition last year. This is one of my favorite examples of FPV flight, but great examples can also be found from Mr. Steele, Finalglideaus, and mattystuntz fpv

Pascal. Drones are cool but they are expensive, you crash them and break them a lot, you have to register it with FFA and if you want to use it for anything besides fun, so videos to sell or use you need a license.

Make sure you're not in a restricted or no fly zone. Would suck to buy one and later find out youre in one of those areas.

If you want a drone for aerial footage, a phantom is the best price/value you can buy. For example if you take a look at the price of a GoPro hero 4 Black which is around $500. A phantom starts from $500 and has a better camera than a hero 4... And return to home, gps,... and other build in features.

So I would go for the phantom! Are you going to buy the pro version?
