I am not sure if I'm in the right page to ask but I'll do it anyways.

Could you guys recommend me a good brand or something along those lines of ethernet cable? I need a new one because I have to move my PC to another room and my current ethernet cable is about 3 feet long. I will really appreciate your help. Thanks.

The only time cable comes into play is when you are looking for high speed like 10Gb/s at which point it's advised to have CAT6/CAT6a cable for more distance but even regular CAT5e will work for short lengths.

If you just need one cable then everything said above is valid.

Beyond that, if you anticipate the need for multiple cables then buy bulk cable, and a kit like this

http://www.amazon.com/UbiGear-Crimper-Connector-Network-Crimper315/dp/B008UY5WL0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461624499&sr=8-1&keywords=ethernet+cable+kit

One with connectors, a punch down tool, crimper, and signal tester.

In the long run you will save a small fortune.

Or when you are running it in your wall, no sense in saving $100 on 1000' of cable when it will require a ton of work (and money) down the road if you have problems.

Oh, hahaha I'm sorry for not knowing that :)

No problem. It was poorly judged from his part that you would get it.

There's no such thing as "audiophile ethernet cables", although there are companies selling them for ridiculously high prices:
