Upgrade path

So I have saved some money and i am just wondering what to upgrade to or if I even should. Just to clarify now buying used parts is certainly a likely option. My current specs are 

  • CPUI5-4460
  • MotherboardMSI H81M-E33
  • RAMCorsair Vengeance 2x8GB
  • GPUGigabyte Windforce R9 280
  • CaseNZXT S340 white
  • StorageWD Caviar Blue 1TB, Kingston ssdNow 300 240gb SSD
  • PSUCooler master G650M

 

My budget is £150 and could stretch to £250 if it is really worth pushing for. Any upgrades at all I am open to, multiple upgrades too. I do heavy gaming (if such a thing exists) not at 4k, who can afford that, and not much else... So any ideas please leave a post.

I see no reason to upgrade anything. Only thing that is worthwile to upgrade would be your GPU in about 1-2years depending on what games and on what resolution you play.

maby a 4690K and do some sweet overclocking?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

except your psu, and maybe ssd, i wouldnt touch anything else

but if you already have them, just use em `-`

 

might need a gpu boost when polaris and pascal releases, but its up to you by then

the r9 280 is still a decent card

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
