I was thinking of getting a power bank like this:

The price looks great, it's got lots of positive reviews and it should have enough power to charge all four of our phones at least once.

Yeah sure. What I don't get is the 500times charge thing. I know LIPOs puff after they are worn out and explode if continued use when puffed so I don't know if the same thing goes for LiOn batteries. Unless it has a detector you wouldn't want the thing exploding into flames in your purse or car. Other then that the piano finish is a sense of full reality. Whatever that means

That's a good gift if your mom likes gadgets, or doesn't drive/ride in a car. If she's a regular mom who's not "gadget-y", i'd keep coming up with ideas. I know my mom wouldn't use it much, but she still likes flip phones too..lol. She just this year got a Roku...kinda behind the times. She is 64 though, but not the old kind of 60's where she act's like an old lady either.

IDK, I'm so used to figuring out what's useful, practical or efficient. Women don't seem to fit into that equation. She's not that tech oriented. She uses a few hundred dollar HP laptop and the same iPhone 5c I do.

 

I guessed the phone charger because we all use our phones quite a bit since we live in a rural area and they help us keep connected. After that all I can imagine is some sort of accessory for her bedroom

Since my mom is the organizational, stationary type of person (she puts a lot of effort into her work and a lot of her hobbies are crafts and stuff), I thought I'd get her some calligraphy pens, the super cool Pilot Parallel ones:

Get them jewelry, they always like that :D Last year I got my mom a Tiffany bracelet and she loved it ^_^ It doesnt have to be really expensive, just something that she can wear and keep on her.
