Still though, was someone high when they done this?

Of course no one, in any country, is gonna make a nuclear bilogical or chemical weapon out of iTunes

i doubt the US Law had anything to do with it

Might be some obscure ITAR requirement.

Basically any sort of computer produced today, if produced in the 1990s, would have been banned for export as a protected munition per US law.  But the tech industry managed to cajole the government into loosening the export restrictions so they could offshore hundreds of thousands of jobs in what formerly was a very lucrative electronics manufacturing sector in the United States.

"Silicon Valley" was named that, not because of all the software companies that inhabit it now, but rather because it literally used to be home to a number of state-of-the-art fabs.  The groundwater contamination remains, but the jobs are long gone.

Why are you so worried about it going to make a nuclear missed in your garage? xD The United States has strict laws regarding the exportation of any computer equipment because they're paranoid about nations not on our friends list  or rogue factions using any advanced computer equipment to make any kind weapons. Even though it unlikely the government's probably worried that if people can hook up 1000 play stations together to make a cluster that somebody will find a way to hook one thousand ipads together to make a cluster.

Well iTunes can be weaponized, my stepdaughter's singing is worse than a nuclear weapon! Her singing should be considered cruel and unusual punishment and against the Geneva conventions.

ITAR most likely.

Many TOS have things like this in them.

Heck read your insurance policy on your home some day.  Mine has a clause excluding damage from a Nuclear strike.

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.
