Need Help with a budget gaming build

Blizard

Hello guys!

I would like some help in building a gaming pc but on a budget (around 650us dollars or 600euros tops), I don't really understand much about gaming pc builds, and I would honestly appreciate your help.

With this budget build I want to be able to play cs go over 200fps +/- and gta V without lagging.

I would like to know why your choices, thank you vey much, for your help and tips are appreciated!

Lag is an internet connection issue, not a computer problem.

Do you need OS, keyboard... or just the tower? and components price are way higher in eu than us so dont go for straight conversion rate

I chose AMD as you generally get more performance for your money when on a budget. The 380 is a perfect example and is about the best you're going to get.

Yeah, with a mid-range i5 and a 380 you'll be able to max out csgo easily and run gta v at a mix of high/very high smoothly.

Guys, Skylake is out and the price difference isn't much anymore, so might as well get the i5 6500 for the better single core IPC (which the R9 380 will need).

Can I ask you why did you choose that video card and cpu?

Stick to the plan @Djole123 told you and replace cpu with FX-6300 & replace gpu with r7 370.

The FX 6300 will face some issues the r7 370, you will be better off with the GTX 950 at this price. It's faster for not much more (at least in the US and the UK, probably in the EU as well) and has less of a CPU overhead which the fx 6300 will benefit from.

if you're asking why i chose 6th gen over the 4th gen i5, its because the price is almost similar but the performance is better

especially with ddr4 support, giving you more ram bandwidth and so the cpu will be able to cope with heavy cpu loads better

that video card is currently a mid-range~-high end gaming card for 1080p, should do you fine in the budget you have

I'll answer

The CPU: Newer, and is one of the best intel processors in terms of value

Video card: At this price point, AMD's R9 380 is the general choice with a good CPU like the i5 6500 since it's faster than the 960.

your build in portugal costs almost 800euros which is about 900us dollars :/ the prices here are higher :( , just the video card is about 300us dollars
