Building New PC $1,500 USD, Recommendations and Advice Appreciated!!

Nytronic

Hello! I just need recommendations on a build I am currently working on please, before making it final decision.

1. Budget & Location

I would like to keep this build under $1,500.00 USD.

I want to stay with nvidia, the case, and dvd drive. I have selected them for personal preferences only. Everything else I would change for the better. Also, I plan on purchasing from Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy. They are preferred and selected for a more ideal realistic pricing on pcpartpicker list.

2. Aim

Purpose for this build is primarily gaming. Running games on 1080p around 60 fps on games, such as Overwatch, FarCry, Battlefield, Terra, and Mobas.

3. Monitors

One monitor at 1080p only.

4. Peripherals

I do also need a gaming mechanical keyboard and a good gaming mouse, any recommendations would be good that will not break the budget by too much.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Simply just need a new gaming computer.

Here is the pcpartpicker link as of now: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bqbtmG

Also, how much of a difference would a liquid cooled cpu make vs an air cooled cpu make. Is liquid cooled unnecessary?

Thank you for all and any help/recommendations! :D

if you are only gaming you could loose the i7 and get an i5 instead and have a bit more to spend on peripherals

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Lose the 6700k for a 6600k- you won't see much of a difference  in gaming performance.

Ditch the GTX 970 for an R9 390. It's faster than the GTX 970, and just about catches up with the much more expensive GTX 980 Ti in DirectX 12 Benchmarks (which is ridiculous, because that costs twice as much. Asynchronus computation perks?). Might I ask why you want to stick with NVidia?

Also, you'll probably get a decent enough overclock with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or the Dark Rock Pro 3.

All this already leaves you with plenty to spend on a 1080p FreeSync monitor, and a decent mechanical keyboard and mouse of your choosing.

Might as well get a 980 ti, though I'd wait for Pascal/Polaris. Zowie mice are the best btw.

Overclocking is unnecessary.

Would not recommend the extra beefy cooler you need to buy the heat and noise ict..

Would overclock the GTX 970 cus EVGA
