However, why would anyone buy a Windows 10 key, when they could just buy a Windows 7 Pro key, install Windows 7, and then do the free Windows 7 to Windows 10 upgrade? From what I'm seeing on those pages, a Win7 Pro key can be obtained for $20. So in combination with the free upgrade to Win10, basically you have an Windows OS for $20. Am I right about this, or am I missing something? edit: upon further 'searching', the keys do appear to be pirated or at least obtained/distributed illicitly.
