EDIT: My chip did 4.6 until I ran into stability issues, so now I run 4.5 24/7.

Eh, I've never really overclocked

Turbo boost does that for me

Highest I've got is 3.35GHz with turbo boost on an i5 4440

 

 

Is it okay if I vote 27.8GHz to make my self feel good?

ive got mine to 4.9 but it takes so much voltage and not really worth it, so i keep mine OCed to 4.7

4.8GHz on my 4790K, because I just don't have the cooling to get my Pentium 4 631 high.

4.8Ghz on my 3770k...with like 1.380V but never spent enough time on it to get it stable.

Used to run 4.7Ghz with 1.360v but now I run 4.5Ghz at an offset voltage...forgot what I set it to, but its been stable

I went 4.2GHz at 1.2875V with my Core 2 Duo E8400 and was getting a massive 28Gflops in IntelBurnTest (normally you hit the wall at 20Gflops).

Not a big overclocker otherwise because I actually prefer getting high power-per-watt than just outright maximum clock speed.

I dont run 5ghz 24/7 anymore but 4.8 all day and 5.0 while benching or a few other tasks

Mine only did 4GHz at 1.312V  although since the safe voltage for Wolfdale is 1.4V I could have pushed it a lot further

This is really going to depend on the CPU. 

 

But, I'd wager that most of us will be limited by the silicon lottery as enthusiast, not so much in terms of skill.

Real core voltage ~1.61v on each, apu was done on 4+1 powerphase itx  

 

Had some decent intel results though

 

 

Real voltage ~1.6

 

And the 3570K

 

 

All done on single stage phase change approx -58c depending on ambient

 

 

However I get a 50L delivery of LN2 soon

5960x @ 4.98 GHz   

 

Water cooled with all 8 cores active.  I wouldn't be running Prime95 at this speed, but I bench at this speed or just a hair higher from time to time.
