You should get the EVGA 500B while there's a rebate over at NCIX. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr

Alternatively, the XFX XT 500 is a bit better built. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1500bxtfr

Gotcha. Looks like the B2 goes for $100. Damn the canadian dollar :(

i just hope the op doesnt get the 500B or the XFX XT

they're cheap but the internal components are too

I'd avoid XFX XT for now, lately there's been some speculation around their manufacturing, components used and not so long ago, testing (45 ºC "test" proven to be wrong)

Keep us updated. If I made a recommendation and it turns out to be bad I gotta know. I presume it's better built/performing than the EVGA B units though?

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

The XFX XT is a poor quality unit from XFX. Would recommend the 500B over the XT.

You have spoken.

It's good that it's also the cheaper choice.
