If you plan on overclocking you need a Z170 board to be able to utilize your K series CPU. Motherboards won't influence your performance so get whatever has the feature set you want (I/O wise). All Z170 have SLI capability so whatever ...

Here, downgrade to an i5 6500 and a 380 and you can fit in a 1440p display or 1080p 144hz free-sync display

 

Paying extra for overclocking isn't going to be worth it especially on a 60hz display, and the i7 6700 here already turbos to 4ghz
