Minecraft FPS issues.

Hello Fellow LTT forum members. I seem to be having some weird things happening with my mine craft and its usage of my CPU and my GPU.

For starters i have a 3570k Stock speeds

And i have 8gb of 1600mhz ram

And finally Dual 560ti GPU's

And running at 1600x900 ( i know that's sad :/)

Im trying to run a 512x Texture pack. I have minecraft allowicated 6GB of ram to run nice and smoothly.

And yes im running Optifine.

No madder what i change the settings to i seem to always get around 30 FPS,  The strange thing is that my CPU is only around 30% usage but my GPU0 is at 100% and GPU1 is at 2%

Any way to help optimize it to use both my GPU's to happend to get better FPS or is overclocking my GPU going to help?

Thanks in advanced!

I am a happy wuffy

Enable multi-core chunk loading

Make render distance lower if you want (Optional)

Make graphics Fast instead of Fancy (Optional)

You may want to scale it down to 256x texture pack.

1. Already on fast.

2. Render distance didnt effect the FPS.

3.I want the highest Res possible.

Get shaders. Texture packs really cant compete with shaders.

might be the absurd amount of ram you are allocating to minecraft, that and stop using hi-res textures, get a shader pack instead and you will be much happier

I have 20G allocated, it just gets better with more, it wont cause problems

Main Machines~ Prometheus - i7 3930k @ 4.5GHz, X79-UD3, HyperX Blu 1600Mhz 24Gb (2x8Gb, 2x4Gb), XFX Double-D 7970, H100i, Military green C70, TX850M, All Corsair SP/AF-120 fans, Samsung 840 Pro 128Gb, 750Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM x2, NZXT Hue accent lights (wouldn't reccommend, they don't stick well). Laptop~ Asus X202E touch notebook- 500Gb 5400RPM 7mm HDD, 4Gb RAM-not upgradeable, 1.8GHz i3, HD4000
