you can move files and programs to another drive (Drive B), pull that drive, wipe the boot drive (Drive A) then reinstall on the new drive (Drive C). should still be able to access programs and files on the other drive (Drive B).

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

Hi,

You can use a cloning software to clone your hard drive to your ssd so that you don't lose all your data as compared with a full wipe.

But if you can I recommend a fresh install of Windows 10. Just be sure to back up any important files.

(if you do want to clean wipe which i recommend)

You unplug your Drive that already has the OS

Plug in your SSD

Set your boot drive as your as the DVD or USB thing which ever has the windows installer

Install windows on SSD, And format your Other drive

Set boot drive as SSD,

Your done

BE SURE TO SAVE/BACKUP ANYTHING YOU WANT TO KEEP BEFORE DOING THIS!!!

I just tested to know how to do it when the ssd comes and I don't see the option to change the boot drive between disk drives

Go to your bios to set your bootdrives
