New Intel entusiastic cpu???

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if you know when the new entusiastic intel cpus are coming are there leaks or something

They will most likely come later this year. There will be a 10 core as well as an 8 core and 6 core. The 10 core is rumored to cost 1500$

yeah like that will happen (sarcasm) if you want stuff with high cores go to amd they have a lot of stuff that has 6-8 cores

still though, why would anybody need more then 4 cores with 8 threads apart from professional and server environments?

i think at the moment there is one xeon for 650 euros that has 8cores, but a really low clock speed, so if intel would be generous  maybe they would give them for 700 euros or so away  but i dont think it will cost 1000 euros again, because in germany sometimes a shop called mindfactory sells even the 5960x for 799 euros, and as it wouldn´t be the top model any longer

What means later this year I plan to build myself a new pc in the summer round July August and will it use the same motherboard

Well the cheapest 6-core (6800K) is rumored to be around 400$ and the 6850K which is little faster version being around 550$

I'm guessing you don't do much video encoding or anything multi thread intensive?  For those that don't want to wait or can't wait, 10 cores / 20 threads sure would be nice!

I'd hold off if you really want Broadwell-E.  I wouldn't be surprised if they start showing up before your July/August build.
