There is already a PC build on PC PARTPICKER for this situation for a bit cheaper;

https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/39FfrH/update-4-grand-theft-auto-v-ready-pc-best-500-550-gaming-pc

To be safe just upgrade to an i5 for $100 more

if you play the same game

it will probably last for a long time

if you keep playing the latest titles, the gpu might need an upgrade after 3 to 5 years, depending on the games you play

So overall should I get the pic that @Starelementpoke reccomended?

Overall, you should understand why the parts would be best at your budget.  Know what you are buying.  We only recommend.

Stconquest got it right,

You should read up on the differences between different components before you make any choices.

Asking is something is a solid build is very subjective because each user has their own best use case scenario.

I'd say go on pc part picker and see what other builds have been completed in your price range,  then compare their differences and really look into "why" and "how" they are different
