I see you nor @Aditya0002 saw the third/second post I made (however you want to look at it which listed 3 different options, that I'd be fine going with.


I did say in my OP that storage wasn't such a huge deal since that can easily be added in, but I guess people either didn't get that memo or storage is too important and shouldn't be overlooked.

Though Aditya was trying to give me something probably slower and less reliable than the 850 Evo.

 

I should also mention that I don't think I'll need performance that the 6700K would give me right away, and I planned on upgrading whenever Kaby Lake comes out. Or if Cannonlake comes out and it supports LGA1151 I might do that instead.


I still don't believe that 550 watts isn't enough, but I think PCPP uses the max power draw of the parts not the idle powerdraw. Though it might not even do that because it shows it in TDP and TDP isn't quite the same as power draw..
