Hey guys so starting today, i'll be planning and building a desk computer setup (desk, case, etc.) with my friend. Since we have a tight budget the focus will be a cheap build that works perfectly and looks great. The desk will be 5 feet by 3 feet and the actual computer will contain water cooling, contain LED's, and other goods.  We will be posting pictures whenever we can!

You should add an SSD. They're cheap, you should be able to work one into your budget.

@Hackentosher Sadly an SSD is too much for my budget, as it stands the full project is going to cost roughly ~$257 and even that is pushing the limit. As a junior in high school I don't have that much money so i'm sticking to the bare bones for this one.

I'm sure you could find $40 somewhere.

Hey guys sorry for the long wait, the weather has been really bad so that prolonged the painting process. Here's some pictures of some parts we will use in the desk (not hardware). We will try to post pictures of the painted desk soon!

PCI Express x16 Riser Extender for our graphics card, the Hue+ for some nice lighting inside the desk, and arcade LED buttons we will use for the power and LED controls
