Posted April 6, 2016 I have an old program that I need to install on a new machine that doesn't have a floppy drive. The program is contained in 5 1.44Mb floppies. I'd like to merge these 5 floppies into one file that I can burn onto a CD ... and use it to try and install the program onto the new machine. Anyone know how to do this in a way that would let the CD install the program? I can copy each floppy to a separate folder on a CD and try that ... but if that fails I need another method. Posted April 6, 2016 Its 2016, what program that would be stored on a 1.44mb floppy would be compatible/applicable with anything today? That media has been obsolete for almost two decades.
