I'm fully aware of the difference.

And, like I said. Theres no way my family could saturate that line. You'd need to be doing so much stuff at one time...,

With 4k streaming and more video content a household could easily saturate that I know I could.

I guess.

That whole world is so far away from me that I can't really give a good estimate. Hell, I don't think I've ever even streamed 1440p before on my life.

Bit older news but hadn't seen it posted yet and thought you guys might like it anyway. The Dutch ISP Tweak, who was also one of the first to roll out Gbps FttH in 2014, is now planning to go up to 10 Gbps.

All these results are mine. I pay $60AUD a month for this.

This is when it is NOT raining.

These results demonstrate what happens when there is anything more than a light drizzle.

Be happy with 10Gbps. At least your countries are not living in the 90s.

i dont understand the point of this, the websites and network services have very low bandwidth per user most in the order of Kilobytes, why would need that much fiber

except for a handful of services (steam, youtube etc)  you cant make use of your internet speed, i have 500mbps and im thinking of a downgrade to 300mbps since its 40% cheaper, i cant see the point of 500mbps let alone 1gbps or 10gbps, unless you run servers no one will ever need 10gbps, with 1gbps you can 4K stream to multiple users netflix and youtube

not to mention 1 PC cannot achieve 10gbps network you need special storage and cpu setup

this is turning into a marketing thing

File transfer twice as fast as currently 2.5" SSDs are capable of.

Absolutely stunning speed for an enthusiast with NVME SSD or a business.

I have not even experienced 100Mbps connection yet :( The best ive had was 80Mbps and I loved the speed.

Anyone know whats the max DL speed on steam, origin and uplay ? Just curious.
