4790K + H110i GT Expected Temps

I recently picked up the 4790K (it hasn't arrived yet) and the Corsair H110i GT. If I am running at stock with the H110i GT's fans running at full all the time what kind of temperatures can I expect at IDLE, Medium Work Load (45%) and 100% Load?

temps depend on ambient temp btw

if your ambient temp is 24C then your temps will be 4C higher than someone with 20C ambient

Yeah don't worry I factored those in, I am a relatively experienced builder but I have never used the 4790K so I cannot judge for myself. I did check out that article before but I was just a bit worried because SO many people have had problems with it. Cheers :D

i've picked up a H100I V2 which is incredibly similar and I have a 4790k at an ambient temperture of 22 Degress Celsius I idle at around 28 Celsius, Low load is around 32 to 38 Celsius. A medium load which is most games made within the last few years are 45 to 63 Celsius at a full 100% load in Aida 64 It gets around 72 to 83 Celsius bare in mind that is at an unrealistically high load even for a high performance triple A open world title *cough *cough Witcher III. With the corsair link software I controller the two fans to go full speed at 70 Celsius 75% at 60 Celsius 50% at 50 Celsius and 25% at 30 Celsius also bare in mind my case is small so stuff is cramed a bit but with a bigger case and having the radiator further from components you could probably shave off a couple of degress

Build Name:

Anton

CPU: I7 4790K

GPU: ZOTAC RTX 2060 SUPER AMP EXTREME

RAM: 16GB 1600MHZ

MOBO: MSI H81M-E33

CASE: COOLER MASTER N300

PSU: THERMALTAKE 600 WATT

STORAGE: TOTAL 6.5TB, 512GB SAMSUNG 850 PRO BOOT DRIVE, 2TB HDD 1, 2TB HDD 2, 2TB WESTERN DIGITAL USB 3.0 BACKUP DRIVE

- CRACK!

Thanks M8, those were the temperatures I were hoping for, nothing overly unrealistic. Although I have capable hardware I usually don't push it to the limit so I shouldn't get near those 85+ temps people have been complaining about.

I have a 4790k and a H110i GT.

At stock speeds, I get idle around 30-33C and under gaming load, it is around 53C. AIDA64 benchmarking takes it up to approximately 65-68C.

Overclocked to 4.6 and 1.3something volts (not really good chip), AIDA64 can take it even up to 80C, though I don't run it on day-to-day basis.

It is good to see this post... I recently upgraded to a 4790k and using a Corsair H100i V2... My best overclock to date is 4.8Ghz @ 1.33v, running AIDA64 it reaches 85c at full load after an hour & just bounces between 75 & 85c.. Then afterwards I run Tom Clancy's The Division on all the highest settings at a constant 75c.. I am not completely comfortable with the voltage.. But it is rock steady.. That will be my winter OC. I also setup a Summer OC of 4.5Ghz @ 1.190v at 65 to 70c. Full load.. Thanks go out to many people.. Too many to list for their help... What do y'all think? Flaming will be completely ignored,. Constructive criticism is appreciated. ?
