According to this New York Times Article, U.S. Claims that they have unlocked the San Bernardino killer's Iphone 5c without the help of Apple.

Well.., that's only bad news if their method can be replicated. Otherwise, they now have access to his phone, which was never something anyone was opposed to.

That's my thought as well. After reading the article it just seems very convenient that they found an undisclosed third party to magically open a phone they said was impossible to open a week before they go to court. Especially when it appeared as if this case was probably going to end up in the Supreme Court.

I'll say what I was about to on the other topic posted. It says down at the bottom that it's satire. If you google it, the only results are this article and a bunch of forums that have reposted it. Hell, it even has 'humor' in the url. lol

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

Killed the phone with a water spill... water damage is one of the most common repairs.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P
If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

Why am I still hearing about this, my god. We recovered data from platters in the Twin Towers I am positive we can take out the flash memory and solder it to another surrogate board and look at the data. We do this with black boxes my god why is it so hard
