V10-LG , huge fonts in certain apps?

Hello guys, i have just bought a v10 today... and i am amazed with the phone in general, its just those font that are so huge in some apps (Facebook messenger for exapmle). with device having a 1440p rez, i though i would be getting smaller fonts and more real estate but it seems that it jsut stretches and zooms fonts to fill the screen... any ideas?

i don't have a solution but i do know why they have huge fonts, people like my parents and grandparents also have these kinds of big smartphones, and they get them so they can read stuff easily
