I saw Linus's new video on the site, about CPU 6700k open cover

Chinese Video link

http://www.bilibili.com/video/av4210697/

In the video,6700k is very good. Much lower than my CPU temperature

My 4790k temperature is very high,The default frequency full load temperature is 95 degrees Celsius.is 4*4.2Ghz

When I lock the quad core 4.4Ghz, the temperature is 101 degrees Celsius

This is my CPU radiator:

I have to open the CPU.I use plastic wrap to cut CPU.

Relatively safe

I plan on deliding my 4770k as well. I will be using vice method (but without plank and hammer, just electrical tape and vice).

One of my cores run 10*C more than the others and I have troubles to keep it stable at 4.5GHz because of that one core as the temps tend to skyrocket.

I'm worried about scratching PCB

I'm worried about the damage to the capacitor

SO I chose to use the plastic chip for cutting

Me too. Thats why I dont want to cut the IHS from the PCB.

I find this to be the most safe way.
