So I recently bought a game called 'Hitman TM' and I tried to play it and it turns out I need a DirectX 11 capable graphics card, so I honestly know nothing about graphic cards but what I think I know is that I need a new one that can run those kind of games.

So I don't know what to buy, I know nothing about them so I want to have some recommendations.

My budget is 100-220, I don't know if that's enough for a graphic card tho.

It sounds like you're on a really old computer and the only graphics card you would be able to add to it without buying all new parts is a gtx 750 or 750 ti. Can you tell us what the make of power supply is and how much big it is in Watts?

Ivan is asking for your Full specs...

We need to know because we need to check if its compatible, if there is no bottleneck, if you have enough wattage, ect.

So I'm guessing this is a computer bought at BestBuy or something. Can you give us the model of the computer? It should say on the box if you still have it, or even somewhere on the chasis of the computer.

or even a

MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G

Ok I will keep that in mind, I just need to know if I can get those without having to replace any computer parts or anything.

Open your computer, who made your PSU?

your PC will probably bottleneck those cards. Your best bet is to look at something like a 750 ti.

IT says:

Manufacturer: Acer

Model: Aspire Z3801

Also on the back of it it says: ASPIRE Touch All-In-One Z3801

You're out of luck. All in ones use laptop parts anf cant be upgraded with desktop parts.

Did anyone read that it's an AIO computer?

You cannot upgrade your computer with a graphics card unfortunately. It is not made for it.

Oh ok, so I just have to buy a new one then?

Also is it best to get a all in one computer or a pc with a monitor or even just a laptop?

If gaming is all you'll do with it and you don't need the mobility, get a PC.

If your max budget is 220 you may want to consider buying a used pc or even parts and building it yourself, pre-built pc's in this price range will not be able to run the games you want to play. Either way, get a pc with a Quadcore processor, prefferably 8GB of RAM and a graphics card that has "60" or higher in its name (i.e. R7 260x or GTX 760). Anything lower than "60" from either AMD or Nvidia isn't worth buying, new or used.

You may even be able to use just the monitor from your AIO computer on a new PC.

My max budget was 220 because I thought I could just replace the graphics card,  but turns out you cant with all in one's so I have to buy a new computer if I want to play high end games, so for a new computer/monitor I would spend like 500-600 probably.

Also on amazon I found this a couple weeks ago, I looked into it but im not an expert so can you guys tell me if its worth it?

(Sorry that's its in french, that's just the closest amazon to me, also I don't know if I should buy it on amazon or try to find it in a shop)

Okay, that widens your options.

You could get a cheap 22-24" 1080p monitor for about 150 (i'm talking euro's) that leaves you with 450-550 for the pc.

For your budget I would suggest an AMD FX-4300 CPU and get the cheapest mobo, 8GB RAM and case.

Get a power supply with a "80 plus Bronze" (silver, gold, etc. is better) rating and a hard drive or SSD of your desired size. Then allocate the rest of your available budget to get the best GPU you can afford.

Of course, there are many more (maybe better) options available, this is just one of them.

Thanks for suggesting an idea, also is it worth it getting another all in one? because honestly I don't know much about setting up cpu's because I've only ever had laptops and all in one's, also I mostly do gaming and watch Netflix so would consoles be a better idea for me?

Whether a console or PC is the right "gamestation" for you, is a choice only you can make.

I would advise against buying a prebuilt/AIO pc or laptop just for gaming. It really isn't that difficult to build your own PC, everything is pretty much plug-and-play these day's. Have you seen some of Linus' build logs?

I've seen other people build CPU's and it's quite quick for them but it looks complicated, but yeah also is it cheaper to build one or buy a prebuilt?

A desktop PC is always going to be more powerful and easier to repair. Whether or not you want to compromise touch screen or be able to take it places, then I would say it is better to have a tower desktop and a monitor that goes with it.
