So....

Disclaimer: I suck at cable management so go ahead and spam the crap out of me about my cable management.

Anyways.... before I show off my horrible PC, let me give some info on myself.

My name is anonymous (so much info) and im only 13 years old.

I like the consumer electronics industry and the games that come out on the #PCMasterRace compared to scrub PS and Xbox players.

Name Of Build:

沈黙 (Chinmoku)

(funny name aside)

I chose this name because its japanese

for silence. This system is VERY QUIET... and that's how I like it. :)

I built this PC after using this crap $300 computer that can't even run CS:GO on all low settings windowed... the specs of the that I have are currently:

CPU: Intel Core I5-4690k

MotherBoard: MSI Gaming 5

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 1866MHZ (Wish they had Red at the time)

GPU: Sapphire R9 280X 3GB OC Edition

Cooler: Corsair H55+ NZXT Kraken G10 for the GPU

PSU: CX600 600W

Case: Corsair Graphite 780T

HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB

ODD: Some random $15 drive from the micro center :D

Things to note:

These parts seem outdated because I bought parts a little by little because we aren't Donald Trump wallet ppl

I will get a Liquid cooler for my I5 soon to OC it (Probably a Corsair H80I GTX)

The color scheme is terrible where its supposed to be Black, white and Red. Prices keep persuading my mom to get the cheaper things of the same model even though its like a $5 difference.

The tubing seems like its going to leak since its twisting and bending so much. I tested if there was much pressure on it, and there wasn't, it could easily move with a poke.

I only got a really big freaking case because my mom thinks we need to, since I will get a second Liquid cooler to mount a second radiator.

Okay for my first PC? You guys judge that.

k bye

Looks awesome, you're super lucky to have that at 13.  I've heard some bad stuff about Corsair CX series PSU's, so consider changing that out in the future but it's fine for now. Here's a big ol' list of high quality power supplies. Next upgrades would be 8 more gigs of RAM and a boot SSD when you want to spend more in the future. It's always good to have a big case like that because you can probably use it for years and change the whole system out multiple times before it's obsolete.

Thanks! I will consider those upgrades very soon.

Hey good looking build! I'd recommend that you spend just a bit more time tidying up the cables AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! You will appreciate yourself for it :)

Also, CHANGE THE RAM STICK LOCATIONS! One of the RAM sticks should be using the third slot instead of putting them together right next to each other like that. This is because this motherboard/CPU supports dual-channel memory so put that to use!

BRRRT!

I will keep working on cable management, I'm just not very skilled at it so ill try looking at some tutorials. Also, (facepalm) why'd I forget to run it dual channel? (switches it). Thanks for the advice!

The case is HUGE! I know you said it's for future upgrades but why a +$150 case (unless you got it on sale)? That money could've been used for getting some of those future upgrades now. Or, you could've found a less expansive case and got those small +$5 upgrades you originally wanted to make the color theme.

Is your other PC going for any price at all? My last PC was much better than your old one and I pad £50 for it. A 1/6 of the price!

I would sell it for $10 Max. It's just way too crap... Spec sheet?

Finally some one who realises it's more important to cool a GPU than a CPU.

Bravo !

I look forward to seeing the CPU get the same treatment :)

Thanks! I always wondered why GPU's were treated less than the cpu even though the gpu is a computer itself!

That is fair enough. I take it that you are from US? Only cuz I'm fro UK and I would probably have to pay more on postage tbh.
