Somehow my PC is not letting me download the drivers for GPU, for a GTX 970 from nvidia.

how i solve that is to download from a laptop to a usb, and use the usb to my PC.

What is restricting me? i never have problem like that before. I use Google Chrome.

"Not letting me download" is pretty vague you know.

I don't know how to elaborate it more.

it just doesn't start the download.

Nothing would happen, but if i click the download link from my laptop, a window will pop up and asked me where to save the file.

Got any addons that might interfere or something?

You can rightclick on the button and try it with the source link.

I don't think i have any addons, this only happened after i used DDU (Display Drivers Uninstaller).

before i run that program, nothing restricted me from downloading a drivers from nvidia or AMD website.

I didn't run DDU in Safe Mode, would that be the reason why my PC is now screwed?

I've never had the need to use DDU so im not familiar with what harm it can do plus I don't see how it can be related to it in any way.

Try clicking on this link as a test

Some browsers don't show the pop up window asking you where to save and automatically donwload to the default downloads directory for that browser. Chrome should show the file downloading at the bottom, but if you go to the menu and click downloads you may see the file downloading and listed.
