Realtime Strategy:

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War (not 2!!!!)

Earth 2140 (is that the title? I forget)

Turn based Strategy:

You will get a lot of recommendations for Planescape Torment and Baldur's Gate, I recommend you only play those really old games if you have extreme patience. Even for me who played through them several times in the 90's, going back to them is a drag no matter how good the memories/ nostalgia is.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Why has no one posted Duke Nukem?! What is wrong with this forum...
I agree to a lot of what I have seen but not many are reading the owners post, we need old games. The founding fathers of pc gaming! Most games that were once pc exclusive have sadly been ported to the console but here is a list anyhow. I know I am missing some, but I did my best.
Doom

Duke Nukem

System Shock 2

Max Payne 1 and 2

Star Craft 1 and Broodwar

Warcraft 3, not that old but worth it

Dues Ex

Theif 1 and 2

age of empires

red alert

Morrowind FOR SURE!!!

Fallout 1 and 2

Freedom Force

Half Life
Knights of the Old Rebublic

Quake
Serious Sam

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series

Worms

Wolfenstein 3D

Tomb Raider, when it was just boobs and uzis
