Having issues with a Corsair AIO? Possible fix here:

Are you getting weird fan behavior, speed fluctuations, and/or other issues with Link?

Are you running AIDA64, HWinfo, CAM, or HWmonitor? (ASUS suite & other monitoring software often have the same issue.)

Corsair Link has problems with some monitoring software so you may have to change some settings to get them to work smoothly.

-For AIDA64: First make sure you have the newest update installed, then, go to Preferences>Stability and make sure the "Corsair Link sensor support" box is checked and make sure the "Asetek LC sensor support" box is UNchecked.

-For HWinfo: manually disable all monitoring of the AIO sensors/components.

-For others: Disable any monitoring of Corsair AIO sensors.

That should fix the fan issue for some Corsair AIOs (H80i GT/v2, H110i GTX/H115i, H100i GTX and others made by Asetek). The problem is bad coding in Link that fights for AIO control with other programs. You can test if this worked by setting the fan speed in Link to 100%, if it doesn't fluctuate you are set and can change the curve to whatever. If that doesn't work or you're still having other issues then you probably still have a monitoring software interfering with the AIO/Link communications, find what it is and disable it.

Completely useless... On a more serious note, are there any plans for a larger than 34", 21:9, gsync, 1440p?

I just want a Square panel that is 2160x2160 without bezels and is fairly cheap so that I can have many of them.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

Right? Nobody seems to want square panels for some reason - they work really well for everything but watching videos.

Not sure if you are joking or not...  but a 2:1 resolution would be very wide vs widescreen and Ultrawide for those who live on videos, and want to game.  Plus it could be positioned to replicated "curved."
then go for a 3:1 and get SuperWide.  The main thing I have in mind is a 3x3 panel so that I can edit any picture at full resolution, viewed in full resolution making bezels extremely important to get rid of!

 

It would be a modular screen.

That'd be nice too, although no bezel sounds almost impossible (maybe possible with OLED though?). I want to make the shift to 21:9 but 34" is a little smaller than I'd like and the amount of complaints on back-light bleed are hard to see past for $1200. I should probably just wait until OLED tech is cheaper and has figured out the issues with it (I heard it get burn in?)

Yes but my requirements don't exist yet... at least 21:9, 1440p(or higher), Gsync, 75hz or more, and 40in or so. I'm currently on a 43" M43-C1 4k (I know, gaming on a TV is blasphemy, but 18ms in gaming mode is acceptable to me and I love a huge screen). I just don't want to go back down to something too small and I can't go back to 1080 after experiencing 4k.

For your requirements wait atleast 1 year bcz monitors will be waaay much better

I most likely have the closest to this: 4520x2560 165Hz Gsync, about 45" and as much or as little curve as you want.

Only problem is the bezels, since its 3 monitors made 1.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

Yea, and the current cards and display outputs couldn't handle it anyway. Flagship Pascal or Volta with DP1.4 or above would be needed to run it...

Having issues with a Corsair AIO? Possible fix here:

Are you getting weird fan behavior, speed fluctuations, and/or other issues with Link?

Are you running AIDA64, HWinfo, CAM, or HWmonitor? (ASUS suite & other monitoring software often have the same issue.)

Corsair Link has problems with some monitoring software so you may have to change some settings to get them to work smoothly.

-For AIDA64: First make sure you have the newest update installed, then, go to Preferences>Stability and make sure the "Corsair Link sensor support" box is checked and make sure the "Asetek LC sensor support" box is UNchecked.

-For HWinfo: manually disable all monitoring of the AIO sensors/components.

-For others: Disable any monitoring of Corsair AIO sensors.

That should fix the fan issue for some Corsair AIOs (H80i GT/v2, H110i GTX/H115i, H100i GTX and others made by Asetek). The problem is bad coding in Link that fights for AIO control with other programs. You can test if this worked by setting the fan speed in Link to 100%, if it doesn't fluctuate you are set and can change the curve to whatever. If that doesn't work or you're still having other issues then you probably still have a monitoring software interfering with the AIO/Link communications, find what it is and disable it.

I'm not joking, but I think I'm imagining something different than you are - perhaps not square, but something taller than 16:10 yet not as tall as 4:3 for single monitor use, like the Chromebook Pixel but shorter.

 

I would also like to see a modular screen like what you're saying though, that would be really cool. It would be interesting to see how they might all interface with a PC.
