how do you get the free game from Nvidia offers?

EvilNeo

right now the division offer is on as if you buy a GTX 970,980 or 980Ti you get tom clancy's the division for free
so how does the procedures actually work?
do you get a certain code from the retailer/hardware store?
or do you always get a code when buying any Nvidia card at any time BUT if you buy it at the offer's time you get to have the game?
do you get the code directly from the retailer or is it inside the GPU's box?

You usually get the code Via Email which you then put into steam or Uplay or whatever it is.

Most of the time, the retailer will give you the code to the game(s) when you order the card. This may be in the form of an email or a card inside the package.

Sometimes, you get a code that then has to be entered on a page on Nvidia's website that then gives you the code to the games.

Either way, the retailer should provide instructions on how to activate the game(s). They may have an information page they link to, or they may email you the details, or you may get a card in the package,

When I bought my GTX 970 with some games with it, the box would have a small flier in it, having a scrape-able box with a nVidia code inside. I went to nVidias website, then picked the game I wanted, and then received that code (I believe via e-mail or directly through the browser)

Depends on the store. Some include it in the box, others email you the code right after you order, others wait until the package is delivered (to avoid scammers canceling after the free game code). Physical stores print it on the receipt.

I have dealt with all those options (I like my free game deals :3)

"Solus" (2015) - CPU: i7-4790k | GPU: MSI GTX 970 | Mobo: Asus Z97-A | Ram: 16GB (2x8) G.Skill Ripjaws X Series | PSU: EVGA G2 750W 80+ Gold | CaseFractal Design Define R4

Next Build: "Tyrion" (TBA)

So I am currently trying to do the same but when I enter the SN it is invalid but then I look at the (http://www.gigabyte.us/WebPage/248/index.html) and my card the GTX 980ti G1 Gaming is not listed. Does this mean it is not a part of the deal.

where did you get that serial number and where did you try to enter it?

i've already bought a gtx 980ti extreme waterforce and the store gave me the code for the game after i've sent them them a picture of the receipt on the store's official page on facebook(the store confirmed to me that the game code will be provided before i bought the card)

i've entered the code on nvidia's site by following these instructions then they made me link my uplay account to embed the game on the account, and now it's done
it's really nice game, tho i'm having some internet problems with it but it's probably just my connection

I got the SN off the box but and typed it into the website, I did not get a code in the box but I was wondering as to if the card was included in the deal.
