You could spend $3 more for the black version which doesn't look as bad.

I need something that is larger than my current mini laptop mouse(which I use on my desktop because my previous mouse on my desktop broke) for daily use(10 hours+).

That's the only downside. I'm sure if this guys going from an office mouse to a gaming mouse a rival 100 will be fine.

That isnt good reasoning, when you move out of your parents house you arent moving into a cardboard box just because its better than owning nothing.

 

Also S3059 with 8bit motionreporting is only performing to its fullest at 500cpi and cursorquality above 1000 is more than questionable.
