Normal Temps 4790k?

Ehm, I've got it pretty long . I've tried to send a RMA, but nothing was found.

I'll defer here to those more advanced that I who might be able to sort through it, but 1.29v as the turbo voltage just seems insane.

Yea, same for me . Might be my mobo, but got latest BIOS flased on it, so I think it is strange .

Everyone and their mother has responded, and this thread might even be dead, but I'll add my two cents since I own this CPU. I keep it on stock speeds and stock voltage (4GHz & 1.2V respectively) and I idle at about 30C and max temps in Aida64 was 54C. I tried overclocking once and got it to 4.6GHz (forgot voltage) and my temps didn't budge. Using the Kraken x61 if that helps.

 

Though from the rest of the responses, most people are giving overclocked temps so take my findings with a grain of salt.

The stock is indeed 4.0 Ghz, but it boosts to 4.4. Thats why I said the 4.4 ghz ;p.

Turbo boost on 4790k is 4.4ghz, so 4.4ghz is indeed stock operations.

The highest mine has been is 70c with a 212 evo

Ah yes winter, the coldest time of the year so if you do it in summer your temps will surely drop.

I have opened another RMA clausure. I also noticed the HD4600 does not show inside my device manager. Although I don't use this, it still does not indicate many good things.
