Pascal curiosity ?

Hi everyone!

 

I tried looking online for some information about this but no good answer so I tried to test my luck here. Does anyone have an estimation on the price ranges of the upcoming Pascal cards? I mean not like accurately but will there be some 400-450$ GPU-s or will they skyrocket the prices ? 

What's your opinion?

There was a report with gpu's with prices of $600 and higher somewhere on the forum, but nothing linking those prices to their actual market cost.

seeing how nvidia priced their cards in the last few gens, i'd say it'll prolly replace the current card's prices, and push the current card's price down

nVidia has a pattern of prices, just like AMD, and it dates back around a decade+.  Prices really haven't changed all that much in all this time, so in short:  There will be a 1070, and 1080 and they'll likely come out at the same asking price as the 980 or 780, and then they'll drop in price as time goes on to get more people to buy them, or SLI them, and that's a year or so down the road, and then they'll have the Titan, and Ti variant or they may not have a Ti variant.  Never know.  But it's almost always the same.

it will most likely be the price that the 900 series was at launch

I would say look at what the prices were for there last flagship releases at launch and then you will have a rough idea what what they will be. Don't forget this will then have a knock on effect to the current spec of cards.
