Would i get a higher overclock headroom with watercooling my gpu?

All opinions and whatnot aside, I think the real issue is the lack of information for performance offered by full gpu waterblocks.  Though I already have the waterblocks, I've kind of been in the same boat as the OP as I can't seem to find any other stats for 970s with a full waterblock.

 

Thus I would like to call everyone's opinions on this matter to question, not because I think you're wrong, because I want some statistics.

I started a new thread trying to get more results, but still haven't found any.  I've had to adjust the clocks a little, but posted some firestrike and heaven benchmarks on the thread.
