They arents very powerful, ps3 and xbox 360 bottlenecked us, now that the baseline has increased everything looks better, the cpu can handle more. I dunno if i forgot to say it runs at 30fps. I was playing gta 4 on my brothers xbox and it runs at 20fps a lot of the time.

Ohh come on it doesn't look bad at all! It looks pretty good all things considered.

its looks good, but not impressive. i don't think it would stress my rig to much.

Oh console gamers... It's sad that they have to have bad graphics and pay $70 for a game that we get to play on ultra, 1080p and constantly over 60fps, for only $50 per game...

Jokes aside, I am suprised that the next-gen consoles are going to be very good at launch, but only until next year, after that, games are going to be again like on a Xbox 360/PS3, running at 720p/30fps because you can't upgrade anything wich is going to kill the console anyways.

No, they aren't "very powerful." The PS4 (the more powerful console of the two) is basically running a 7850. That's not "very powerful" in my book.

EDIT: I just realized that you could be talking about the new technologies in games, not the consoles. In that case, yes, games are going to start looking extremely realistic and require a lot more horsepower.

how to beat next gen consoles: get an FX-6300 and pair it with the good old Radeon 6950. It will beat out the next gen consoles for really cheap.
