Hello guys I'm experiencing a problem with my backup phone(Galaxy s3).

I had to use it like 4 months or so and it seems like the battery got fatter. That's a huge problem cause I can not use its back. Does anybody has an explanation or even a solution to solve this problem;

Thanks in advance :)

The battery is failing, its best to not use it and take it to a place that recycles lithium batteries. I don't recommend replacing your battery with a $5 "OEM" battery as they are shit, and would recommend a battery from a trusted manufacture like Anker or ZeroLemon.

Edit: Also I have one of those $5 shit OEM batteries for the S3, they don't last long and the rating is fake on them. Mine is currently expanding like yours, after a few months of use.

do not try to fix it yourself

the metal used in batteries are reactive to air and will explode in your face if you are not careful

As said that battery has begun the fail they tend to bulge and explode if catastrophic failure occurs, it would be best to get rid of that to a place that disposes batteries.

throw that shit away as far as possible, and get a new one online.

if you cant find a replacement for your specfic phone, you can (CAREFULLY) take the controller out this battery, and strap it to a similar capacity battery that you were able to find.

thats also how i put 3 18650 li-ion cells in my old phone :P
