SteamVR Performance Test Issue

GizmoBroHD

Hey guys!

I decided to run the SteamVR Performance test on my rig to see how I fared... Turns out not to well. (See results below)

I'm not sure whats going on here, if anybody has any ideas, please help me out!

Thanks in advance!

~Gizmo

I'm assuming it's a single card, right? Because dual card setups have been having some... issues... with the SteamVR test.

How are the system's usages, clocks, and temps (GPU and CPU) while running the test?

Dash, CPU temps got to about 37 compared to the normal 25 or so, and GPU temps got to about 39 from the norm 28.

GPU usage was at 99 for the entirety of the test.

CPU usage seemed the norm.

Hmmm... That's strange...

Could you list the full specs?

Also, did you monitor the clocks as well?

I usually use HWiNFO.

Alright after trying multiple times,

My system completely locks up if i try and have both HWiNFO and the SteamVR test running at the same time.

... Um... Well.

Do you have any other monitoring software installed, like Corsair Link?

Also, what are the full specs?

I asked if you have Corsair Link because it can cause a conflict with other monitoring software, I do hope you didn't just install it...

Either way, that is pretty confusing. Have you tried wiping graphics drivers and reinstalling them?

That's only Nvidia SLI. Crossfire is working fine with SteamVR. I realize OP has a 970, just putting it out there that its only an SLI problem.

Well, yeah, but... This guy has an Nvidia card. That isn't really relevant here.
