They do not and what studies are there i have not seen one that said they cause violence  . Some people have problems and instead of talking about them they seem to jump to the fact they play video games when something horrible happens and it makes no sense to me.

Well in the last generation (the parents) and this generation, we are used to books so we don't think so.

I'm sure once this generation becomes parents, people thinking videogames making kids violent would not be an issue.

I haven't seen a single study where they showed evidence of there being a correlation between violent video games, and violent behavior.

There are researches that say yes with no evidence and researches that say no, but tbh if the person can't tell the difference between reality and games/books/movies , then there is something wrong with that person(mental issues,got abused,got bullied,those kind of stuff) and not really with the content he/she is playing/reading/watching.

 

For example in bf3 when i snipe someone out of a chopper, i'm not really thinking that i should get a sniper rifle and try the same thing in real life.
