Best Mechanical Keyboard

So? What's the best gaming keyboard in your opinion?

Also,

I'm looking for a keyboard with lighting when whenever I press the button it lights up and when I release it, it's off.

Looking for something comfortable and Cherry MX Brown

I believe that some Ducky keyboards may have that lighting functionality but I would need someone else to back me up on that. :rolleyes:

Case = Bitfenix Prodigy, Motherboard = P8Z77 - I Deluxe, CPU = 3570k @ 4.2GHz, RAM = 2x 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws, GPU = Sapphire 7950 Boost Edition, Storage = 256GB Samsung 840 Pro.

The best gaming keyboard is the keyboard that you think is the best. Its all personal preference.
And yes, look for a Ducky Shine II or III, they have that reactive typing mode with their LED lights.
I believe the Corsair K70 has a reactive LED mode too but it's not as good as the Ducky.

Good enough.

Yes, the Shine series of Ducky have that functionality. They are also very durable :D

I don't understand why keyboards with led ain't so popular? In my opinion all keyboards should support this feature. I can't imagine to use keyboard without lights, especially when you sit in the dark room.

I'm not certain about the Ducky Shine II, but you should definitely go for the K70 if you like the aluminium build as well as the dedicated media keys.

Blasphemer! Sacrilegious!  <_<

It's NOT only lighting effects, it's about build quality, ease of use....no need for additional drivers as the generic Windows driver would suffice for excellent compatibility fyi. Once you've owned one, then you'd get what I mean. Granyed, the K70 would be a nice alternative if you prefer that look....as long as it's not a Razer! ;)  See? I did it again! :ph34r:

As for your thread title, best keyboard, in my humble opinion, are these...below, in terms of layout and switch type.

Or, if compact keyboards aren't your cuppa, these as well.....love the 55G!

Topre FTW! But admittedly, Topre hybrid dome/spring capacitive switch isn't for everyone. Some love it immediately, like moi, others simply hate 'em. While some others may take a while to warm up to the feel....
