Unfortuanately for that revision of the XFX card, it doesn't have a waterblock support.

They have it for Asus, PowerColor and XFX as well.

Not entirely true...

 

EKWB has waterblocks for 390 and 390x that are either reference design PCB or cards that have the same PCB as their 290/X counterpart.

Such an example would be the Asus DirectCUII R9 390/X. The Asus 290/X Waterblock from EK will fit the 390/X.
