That mainly depends since most of that is for the extras like the cooler and power delivery, but if your watercooling either AIO or full cover block that will be removed so there is some gain and loss to that. It's up to what you find is best, for large aftermarket cards like this though they can be comparable to AIO loops so I would try it as is first and see what it can do.

That would be a good option to then progress from there, however IIRC some mention you can get better value with the Evga, MSI or Gigabyte versions than the Asus version since it does carry a heavier pricetag to comparable cards.
