Joining Friends

Hi everyone!

 

Me and a friend have recently started out on Star Citizen, and it would be cool if we could get into the same instance as one another, but they're always full!! 

 

Does anyone know if there's a trick i can use to find an instance that isn't full or something?

Get one of you in and have the other person just keep trying over and over..its not easy they need more servers

update 2.2 though is adding more players per instance so it should be a bit easier

As we've come to expect from our meetups, the more people we have, the less likely we are to get everyone safe and sound into a game (This is just arena commander). They definitely need to fix a LOT of their netcode, and we can't really do anything about it. This is, after all, the most complicated game there ever was..

2.2 is in the PTU now and it finally adds a party system where you and your friends are more likely (or being able at all) to get into the same server  

 

Expect it soon(tm) on the Live server.

He is right, I have an invite and I have tested it. It reserves the amount of spaces for your party when you join so that the rest of the party can join you in the universe or in arc Corp. The only time we didn't have it work was when 2 people were in instances and I could not join either of them because they were in separate sessions

Nice, cant wait to try it! Do you have any idea when they're planning on releasing the update?

2.2.0c is out now on the PTU, it all depends on the amount of blockers they encounter.

Indeed, most PTU patches have got up to about i or j patches but It depends on if they can get most of the bugs out then they will release it. At the moment most of my experience on 2.2.0c has been bug free except my countermeasures not working
