text got deleted: these are some scores I got on cinebench with the new 6700k. I was able to get my system stable ( i hope) at 4.7 Ghz and 1.380 volts. what are your opinions on "safe" long term voltages and etc. Temps are never exceeding 68 C underload for 4 hours on prime 95 and cpuz. Just curious what you guys got out of your skylakes and at what voltages?

That voltage sounds high... not entirely sure about skylake but on haswell I would strongly caution anyone going over 1.3 and at 1.4 you're definitely hurting it

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Skylake is fine up to 1.45v, but for 24/7, it is recommended people avoid going over 1.4v unless they have some amazing cooling solutions in place.

That sounds... impossible. May I ask what kind of cooler you have on this thing? 4.7 at 1.38, running 48k FFTs without a lap and delid, you are going to be looking at 80C+, even on an H110. No getting around AVX/FMA3 at that kind of voltage/core clock. Physics just won't allow it.

Technically you are fine up to around 1.42 to 1.45, although above 1.375 for sustained voltage is not recommended.  I've had mine at 1.35v with computer on 24/7 with no issues, but will likely be dropping down to 1.3 soon.  Temps are not the sole issue, though a good indicator.  Is it not stable at a lower voltage?

1.4 Volt is max safe 24/7. Depending on Cooling, i would even go up to 1.35.

Your 1.37 at 4.7 is pretty nice. I would keep that as max, and not go any higher.
