Long story short, I want to learn about cars, how they work, how to make them better, and how to fix them. Is there a good Youtube channel/forum that covers car things similar to how Linus and the crew do it? I could really use some as fast as possible videos on... everything about cars.

From what I've seen, Engineering Explained does a decent job talking about how different automotive systems work. It's from an engineering perspective though, not a mechanics.

In terms of reviews, CNET's Brian Cooley is pretty good

They are pretty cool people. I got to hang with them in their van they built in Madison. I mostly talked to their editor and cameraman as I do this a bit myself. If you don't believe me his name is Dustin and I have a pic.
