I got Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard and a GPU GT 730 2GB GDDR5 it say that core clock is 901mhz like it is but memory should work on 5000MHZ and its working on 2505MHZ.

When i got to the Nvidia control panel it say that bus is runing at PCI Express x8 Gen2 and it need to be x16?!

How do i fix this?

Look, I attached two screenshots. one while performing some GPU intensive task and one while the computer was running idle. You can see that it uses the full PCIe 3.0 Bus only when I performed the benchmark.

Edit: Oops, false screenshot :D

Edit 2: Found the right one :D

Try doing a render test. Your graphics card won't need the full PCIe-bus while idle.

I was playing a World of Tanks and i had a Msi afterburner showing my gpu speed on screen i was clocking it and core was runing at 1109 and memory max at 2700 cant go over that

first off the memory should be fine, its using GDDR5 which i think is a Dual Data Rate(DDR) standard but it might be quad data, cant remember but if its dual data then 2 x 2500 = 5000 :) core will ramp up as the card getts stressed so run a benchmark and check whilst doing that

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

it's likely just reporting the speed at half, software often reports it at either 1/4 or 1/2 the "effective" speed.

From gigabyte themselves, Max support for your gpu is PCIe 2.0 at x8. The card cannot go up to x16.
